These checks are applied to families in your Library, Collections, and tracked Projects. Each family’s detail page shows the specific issues found, and listings can be filtered to show only families with issues. Project and Model families additionally show a badge identifying Corrupt families, and families with warnings. Corrupt families
When the family file appears to be corrupt and may have generated an error or crash in Revit.- Corrupt family

Geometry and views
Issues with the geometry or views of the family, for example there are no visible 3D elements.- View has no visible 3D elements
- Non-native geometry found in family

Hosting
Issues with the hosting, for example a host-based family which has no host face.- Hosting face appears flipped
- Hosting face has been shifted
Processing errors
Any family-related errors which were generated while processing the family.- Failed to export some thumbnails
- Cannot copy lookup table
- Failed to export RFA
- Family cannot be opened and further details, including thumbnail and file cannot be generated
- Family cannot be saved
- Failed to parse XML
- The item’s size exceeds the maximum size allowed
Lookup tables
Issues with a lookup table and its relationship to the family, for example if the lookup table is missing.- Lookup table missing

Naming
Issues with the family names, for example is it empty or does it end in a space.- Name has trailing spaces

Issues with parameters, for example if the string value is over 512 characters.- Parameter with big string

Issues related to the type catalog file and its relation to the type, for example if the catalog file is empty or cannot be found.- Type catalog empty
